EMH Elektrizitätszähler GmbH & Co KG was founded in Wittenburg in 1991. EMH develops, manufactures and sells fully electronic electricity meters, accessories and software- and system solutions. The scope of our products covers the entire range from residential meters to industrial meters through to special meters for precision measuring. In the field of special meters, EMH belongs to the worldwide leading manufacturers.

With regards to quality and reliability EMH has made a very good name for itself over the years. To assure this long term, EMH is certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2000. This builds up trust and confidence in products from EMH which is the only German manufacturer still completely developing and producing in Germany.

Numerous energy suppliers worldwide belong to EMHs customers, among others the four largest energy suppliers in Europe. which EMH has reliably delivered to for many years. With innovative products and highly motivated employees EMH has adapted itself to the sophisticated market requirements and aspires to continue to grow in the next years.

To guarantee our customers high quality products exclusively first class components are used. Continuous checks such as in circuit tests and also visual- and system tests during the production process guarantee that our high quality standards are complied with. Furthermore EMH is certified according to module D by the MID. Certification includes the production and final inspection of meters according to type examination certificate.

The basis of our success is extensive Know How combined with many years of experience in developing electronic meters. This is the reason why approximately 20% of our employees are actively employed in research and development. Equipped with the latest tools, the team is prepared to develop top quality products that are based on advanced technology and customer requirements.
