GÖRLITZ

GÖRLITZ is a key player in the market of remote meter reading systems and metering solutions enabling the recording of energy data and the delivery of specific data for energy management systems. Over 800 European customers in the industrial and energy sectors deploy the hardware and software from the Koblenz based company to record, transmit, collect and bill the generated data for energy delivery and consumption.

In order to provide the basis for integrated business processes in a liberalised energy market, GÖRLITZ systems have been focusing on the latest metrological concepts, technical standards and open interfaces for many years. The company has also been active in international standards’ committees and has now joined up with other leading European metering providers in the ESMIG organisation. Their common aim: a contribution to the standardisation of Smart Metering at a European level.

The GÖRLITZ Group includes subsidiaries in Austria, Benelux, Denmark, Germany, Italy and Switzerland. Other members of the group include EuroDCS Energiedaten AG, a data service provider located in Koblenz and Berg GmbH, which caters to the industrial sector and is located near Munich with systems for energy monitoring and cost controlling.

The group is not listed on the stock exchange and has an annual turnover of over 20 million Euro with over 180 employees.
