ZIV MEDIDA SL is a Spanish company 100 % subsidiary of the ZIV Group. The group started in 1993 designing, manufacturing and marketing “Digital Protection, Control and Communication Equipment/Systems“ for electric HV and MV power networks and industrial applications. In 1998 ZIV began its metering activities.
Since 2001, ZIV has been structured in 4 independent businesses focusing on specific market niches:

In 2003, the ZIV Group becomes a corporation as the sole owner of the 7 new independent subsidiary companies: ZIV P+C SL (protection and control), ZIV Medida SL (metering), INTEKIA SL (Engineering), MICROSYSCOMS SL (wireless communications for industrial and electrical environments) , DIMAT SL (Broad band MV and HV PLC and teleprotection), ZIV DO BRASIL and ZIV (USA) INC.
