ESMIG and the European Commission invite you to be part of the EU Sustainable Energy Week 2013 (24-28 June 2013)
The European Smart Metering Industry Group and the European Commission
invite you to be part of the
EU Sustainable Energy Week 2013 (24-28 June 2013)
Whether you are a public authority, an energy agency, a private company, an NGO or an industry association, the EU Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) is the right platform to share your expertise, raise awareness and showcase your successful experiences and projects in the field of sustainable energy. Launched by the European Commission in 2006, EUSEW showcases activities dedicated to energy efficiency and renewable energy solutions, and is designed to spread best practices, inspire new ideas and build alliances to help meet the EU’s energy and climate goals.
If you are keen in raising the profile and improve the image of your organisation, town, city or region, if you wish to spread your cutting-edge technology to gain visibility and attract media attention, EUSEW is the place to be. You will be part of a large European movement and receive the communication support of the European Commission.
With more than 1000 events and over 260 award entries in its 2012 edition, EUSEW has progressively become the largest event on energy efficiency and renewable energies taking place in Europe. The 8th edition of the EUSEW will take place from 24 to 28 June 2013.
HOW CAN YOU BE INVOLVED?
1. Submit your project to the Awards competition (Deadline is 8 March 2013)
The Sustainable Energy Europe Awards and the ManagEnergy Local Energy Action Award (only for local and regional public authorities including energy agencies) are complementary competitions sharing the same ultimate goal: to provide institutional recognition and increased visibility to best-in-class sustainable energy initiatives. Are you managing one? Then you can benefit from EU recognition and free communication support! Click here to apply.
High-Level Policy Conference (HLPC) (Deadline
is 28 February 2013)
The HLPC is a three-day series of events dealing with sustainable energy policy. It will take place in Brussels (Charlemagne and Committee of the Regions’ buildings) from 25 to 27 June 2013 and will include some 40 conferences organised both by European Union institutions and other stakeholders. We invite you to submit event proposals to be part of the HLPC. A “Call for Events” will open on 29 January. More information available here.
3. Organise an Energy Day in your own city or region (Deadline 10 June 2013)
Energy Days are not-for-profit events, activities, projects, exhibitions or displays taking place around Europe that promote energy efficiency or renewable energy. Are you keen in promoting your achievements to citizens, potential investors or policy makers? Then you will be pleased to find out more here.
