We are pleased to announce that Data Communications Company (DCC) has joined ESMIG.
DCC provides the digital backbone of Britain’s energy system. They have delivered a unique, secure communications platform that is now available in more than 99% of premises across Britain, connecting tens of millions of smart meters across all of Britain. Through this platform they support Britain’s clean energy transition and journey to net zero through connecting homes and businesses to a single, secure network of digital smart meters.
Following their successful application, Mannu Rawat, Director of Network infrastructure Evolution stated ”Data Communication Company has built the GB smart metering network which at scale will connect around 100 million devices. Together with our customers we’re connecting homes and businesses to a single, secure network for digital smart meters.
