The Smarter E Europe: ESMIG moderates forum session

Taking place from 11-13 May, the goal of The Smarter E Europe exhibition, taking place at Messe München, is ‘’creating a new energy world’’.

The focus of the event is on renewable energies, decentralisation and digitalisation of the energy industry as well as cross-sector solutions from the electricity, heat and transport sectors for a smart and sustainable energy supply.

The event brings together four exhibitions to give the energy industry players from around the world a comprehensive overview of the latest developments and trends:

  • Intersolar Europe – the world’s leading exhibition for the solar industry
  • ees Europe – the continent’s largest and most international exhibition for batteries and energy storage systems
  • Power2Drive Europe – the international exhibition for charging infrastructure and e-mobility
  • EM-Power Europe – the international exhibition for energy management and integrated energy solutions

The EM-Power Europe branch is of particular importance for ESMIG as it covers Energy Management and Integrated Energy Solutions, covering topics such as flexibility management, smart metering, integration of renewable energies and energy.

As such, we are delighted to take part, moderating a forum session, and presenting a case study sharing experiences in making use of smart metering to enhance renewable integration with utilities, presented by our members SAP and Netinium with the utility ewz.

The session, titled ‘Smart Metering as Cornerstone for Grid Integration of Renewable Energies’ takes place on 12 May (12:00 – 13:00) and will also feature presentations from Xemex, SmartRED and NET2GRID.
