The 7th edition of the Cybersecurity Forum “From theory to practice: How do we get it right? How do we get it right in time?”, jointly organised by the Association of European Distribution System Operators (E.DSO), the European Energy – Information Sharing & Analysis Centre (EE-ISAC), the European Network for Cyber Security (ENCS) and the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA) will take place in Brussels on 1 October 2024.
Bringing together experts in the field of grid cybersecurity to exchange on the latest developments and threats and on the fundamental impact of cybersecurity legislation on the energy sector, ESMIG’s Technical Director, Willem Strabbing, will join a session titled ”Managing supply chain risks”.
How can the European regulations on cybersecurity be developed in a harmonised way, managing risks, avoiding gaps and overlaps? What is expected from the various stakeholders, what are the main challenges and how can resilience be assessed? Are the different actors able to keep up with the cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities, ensuring supply chain security? These and other topics will be tackled during the event, together with concrete case studies of network attacks.
