What is your company’s mission?

The mission of Cuculus is to bring affordable energy and water to everyone.

What drove you to become an ESMIG member?

It’s always a good thing not to cook in your own soup. ESMIG gives us a forum for talking and cooperating with companies with which we are sometimes in competition with. So it’s a great platform to exchange visions for the market in Europe.

How does ESMIG help your company to achieve your goals and support your company’s mission?

ESMIG as a platform, together with joint representation at conferences and trade shows as well as all the meetings of the working groups and task forces, provides a great forum to exchange and also to create or develop your own ideas and bring it up to the right level in the European Union.

What do you see as the biggest challenge and opportunity for the energy industry in Europe today?

The challenge of Europe in general is the changing energy mix we have due to a number of reasons, for example: limited availability of certain resources like gas as well as renewable energies. Renewables are influencing a lot the energy production schema and also the infrastructure and assets involved in the energy sector.

Where do you see smart energy solution providers making a difference in addressing these challenges?

The energy transition is mainly about managing a change. And a change never comes without suffering and certain level of pain. Thus, our task is to avoid that or to minimise that which consumers suffer as a result of the adoption of all the changes. It should be as easy and as smooth as possible for everyone.

In an ideal world…we should be CO2 neutral around the globe in just a few years and protect the future of our next generations.
