ESMIG, alongside members, will once again exhibit at Enlit Europe taking place this year in Paris from 28 November to 30 November.
As a key event for the energy sector, Enlit Europe provides an opportunity to share knowledge and connect with fellow stakeholders including thought-leaders, innovators and disruptors in the energy sector representing power generators, IPPs, utilities, grid operators, energy companies, retailers, energy markets, energy traders and exchanges, plus commercial and industrial energy users.
ESMIG and members will be exhibiting in a dedicated ESMIG Area in Hall 7.2, with the ESMIG booth at stand B30. As a special feature, we will showcase an interoperability demonstration alongside our members. For this year’s edition, we have included home energy management functionality and smart meter appliances provided by the consortium EEBUS. We show how the metering infrastructure is connected to smart appliances, such as a heat pump and EV charging station, via a gateway provided by our member Telit Cinterion and an energy management system provided by EEBUS.
The concept with a gateway as the link between the grid and in-home energy management is based on a mutual development of a multi-utility gateway concept by DLMS-UA and ESMIG. Both organisations work on the next generation of smart metering by developing a modular infrastructure, demand side flexibility use cases and extensions of the currently available interoperability standards. Find out more about our work on interoperability here.
We will host live presentations on 28 November and 29 November at 11:00 and 17:00. We will also host a drinks reception alongside the demonstration on 28 November at 17:00.
In addition to this, we will moderate a Digitalisation Hub Session on Cybersecurity on 29 November in Theatre 1, Hall 7.2 at 9:30-11:15, to take a deep dive into cyber resilience and tackling cybersecurity threats in a decentralised system.
