At ESMIG’s interoperability demonstration, NITES showcases the NITES MDM system. This system serves as a central hub for collecting, validating, storing and managing meter data. Seamlessly connected to the Netinium HES, the MDM receives meter readings and event data from several smart meters. The system will automatically perform validation, estimation, and editing (VEE) processes to ensure data quality and integrity. Through an interactive dashboard, the MDM can display real-time readings and event information for individual meters as well as aggregated data for groups of meters. The processed and validated data will then be forwarded to the Cuculus Smart Meter Operations Center (SMOC), enabling downstream systems to perform advanced analytics and operational monitoring. This end-to-end flow highlights the crucial role of the MDM system in ensuring reliable, accurate, and timely data for utilities and other stakeholders.
